Hand-formed and hand-painted ceramic plate by artist Zoë Deno. Made in Vienna. Stoneware, glazed.

This piece is a true one-of-one. The surface becomes a playful landscape of abstract marks, soft color fields and graphic contrasts - intuitive, layered and full of movement. Brushstrokes, checks and organic shapes meet in a composition that feels spontaneous yet balanced, like a visual conversation captured mid-thought. 

Note to the piece: Some wounds do not ask to be spoken. They ask to be painted, written, shaped, danced, or sung. Creativity is sometimes the place where pain first feels safe enough to become visible.

The sculptural bubble form enhances the painting, creating depth through light and shadow. Highlights shift as the piece moves, giving the artwork a living, almost breathing quality.
