Layers of clay become a landscape. Through the traditional Nerikomi technique, Alexie Peña Kim creates flowing marbled patterns that seem suspended within the surface - like geological formations, ocean currents, or fragments of memory preserved in stone.

Each plate carries its own unique composition, where earthy tones, soft contrasts and organic shapes unfold across the clay. The result is both functional and painterly, transforming an everyday object into a quiet artwork.
